Shades of Violet is a handmade Alzheimer’s Awareness Kumihimo bracelet created to honor those living with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia, the families who love them, and the caregivers who walk beside them through every changing season.

Shades of violet and purple come together in a dimensional beaded pattern inspired by the color of Alzheimer’s awareness. More than a piece of jewelry, this purple awareness bracelet is designed as a wearable symbol of love, memory, dignity, strength, and hope.

Each bracelet is hand-braided bead by bead using traditional Japanese Kumihimo techniques. Glass seed beads are individually loaded onto durable fiber cords, then carefully braided to form a smooth, flexible rope-style bracelet that is comfortable enough for everyday wear.

The rich purple color palette gives the bracelet a meaningful yet versatile look.
